Artist Statement
Individually crafted one of a kind accessories made in Chicago since 2004. I employ different traditional techniques to create 33 styles of wearable fiber art, varied in color, texture, pattern and process. Each piece is approached as a painting; a two dimensional surface to be designed, manipulated and permanently altered. My processes incorporate applications of hand dyeing, hand sewing, hand painting, hand felting, resist, and embellishment . As the company continues to evolve, so does the unmistakable style of Gina Pannorfi.
