Artist Statement
Raised on Florida's east central coast, I have used my travels throughout the world as a source of inspiration in my art. I consider my work emotional prints of my dreams and life experiences.
My oil pastel artwork is comprised of building thick layers of color on handmade cotton paper. After stacking or blending the colors, I scratch out layers to expose the underlying colors. I add designs, highlights and words to achieve the desired image. These are one of kind pieces done exclusively by me.
