Artist Statement
Raised on Florida's east central coast, I have used my travels throughout the world as a source of inspiration in my art. My work is a reflection of the rhythmic movement of the world around us and the hidden cosmic matrix that binds it together. I strive through use of multiple layers and the use of color to make a statement about the influence of time. I am searching for an organic connection with ambient forces in nature.
My mixed media artwork is comprised of combining the use of colored pencil, graphite, oil stick, acrylics and oil pastels in layers on cotton paper.
