Artist Statement
My work begins with a hand full of sharpened pencils and a blank sheet of artboard. I scribble & erase and scribble & erase until I begin to see images in the lines. Once I begin to see a figure, I pull the images out of the lines using color pencils, oil pastels and oil painting mediums.
