Artist Statement
I am interested in color, texture, pattern and process. I employ techniques grounded in ancient tradition, and use them to design and create textiles that embody both painting and sculpture. Hand-dyed, hand-cut silk layered with merino wool in original compositions & wet-felted with the force of my body. I create a collection of 28 styles of original textiles & wearable art.
