Artist Statement
Karin primarily works with oil paint, oil pastel and various drawing media as a means of producing intensely colorful and active landscapes which depict real or contrived places. In some ways, this work calls to mind our relationship to the land, and the manner in which we alter, transform, and navigate the environment.
