Artist Statement
During a time of grieving making art was therapy for me. I developed a strong desire for the paintings to be therapeutic for the viewer as well. I chose the subject matter of water for its ability to sooth, its mesmerizing effect on light, and how it visually morphs reality. I hope they speak to you.
