Artist Statement
Inspired by nature. I combine shibori with hand painting, felting, and screen printing on natural fibers to create rich and layered surfaces on my fabrics. I work with natural and fiber reactive dyes and textile inks. I use my fabrics to construct original and contemporary clothing and accessories-wearable art.
