Artist Statement
While creating my pieces in gold, silver and copper, I pay meticulous attention to the lines revealed in the forms and shapes that I am making. Line is like an artist's signature. It, along with form, weight and balance are key components that ensure a piece of jewelry resonates with the human form. More than any other tool, hammers help be move the metal to achieve a purity in the lines expressed in my pieces.
