Artist Statement
Participating as a member of the New Art, New Artist College Student Program. I consider my work to be products of a meditative state while interacting with the natural world. I bring my training in poetry to the photographic process, very delicately choosing the elements I am photographing to produce a final composition like that of a haiku: small, quiet, complex, and strong.
