Artist Statement
I began my work with metal while studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 1997. My jewelry is inspired by my early interest in machine components and the beautiful mathematical patterns that occur in nature.
My jewelry is often described as "delicate industrial". I use various shapes of sterling silver tubing and wire to create my pieces. The techniques I employ include forging, fine soldering, wire wrapping, bezel making and gem setting.
