Artist Statement
I have always been fascinated with the way common themes are woven through the world's greatest myths. The stories are so very old and yet so current in many ways. They have lasted the test of time, especially in Ancient Greece. Working with the medium of encaustic, wax becomes a figurative container for these myths and stories.
