Artist Statement
Each piece is first hand thrown on the potters�?? wheel using a porcelain clay. Depending on the final design of the piece, I may then carve or texture the vessel. I start each lid with a sculpted porcelain original. Some are then transformed into cast glass or cast bronze using the "lost wax" technique.
