The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, the Original has an opening for a Bookkeeper/Office Manager. This is a year-round, part-time, in-house position with extremely flexible hours; approximately 8 hours per week with additional hours leading up to and during the Art Fair, the third week of July each year.
Responsibilities consist of performing the organization’s bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks; including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, merchant service reconciliations, sales tax preparation, and monthly financial reporting. Additional duties include general administrative functions such as maintaining office supply inventory, answering phones and emails, postage and shipping, and working with contract payroll and accounting services. The position also requires cash handling for the events.
Candidate must have a minimum of three years bookkeeping experience, preferably with non-profits, and be proficient at QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Accountants please do not apply.
2015 Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator Internship provides you with real-world event production experience as you assist with the planning and implementation of the 2015 Street Art Fair and Townie Street Party.
The internship offers a flexible start date, beginning in April with limited hours, increasing to approximately 20/week during May and June.
