Artist Statement
I am inspired by the everyday - the ordinary landscapes and city scenes we pass by each day, without much thought. Living on a farm myself, I am drawn to the contrasts between the urban and rural - the hard man-made geometric forms juxtaposed against the softer, indeterminate forms of the natural world and the effects that light and atmosphere have there upon.
