Artist Statement
Karin Wagner Coron has a deep appreciation and long standing involvement with abstract expressionism painting traditions. Engaging compositions, bold colors and gestural abstraction allow her to evoke a sense of place. Her focus lies on landscapes where she finds pleasure in creating abstract impressionist works that explore intimate interplays between our innermost feelings of the land we inhabit and the color, light and atmosphere that transforms our reality.
