Artist Statement
Paintings of books emphasizing the abstract elements and process. Oil and/or acrylic is used over charcoal, watercolor, pencil and tinted gesso which have been worked and reworked to develop history. The paintings are intentionally ambiguous allowing the viewer to complete the work.
